National Honor Society

National Honor Society recognizes students who show their commitment to service, scholarship, leadership, and character and meet academic standards of eligibility.

National Junior Honor Society

The middle school chapter of the National Junior Honor Society elects members each year who help to serve the rest of the student body in various capacities. In addition, four student leaders are recognized each month as a “student of the month” to call attention to those who excel in being a role model to their peers through character.

Student Government

Student government is a leadership organization consisting of five members for each high school grade level: President, Vice-President, Chaplain and 2 Cabinet Members. The members are elected on an annual basis and must, among other things, represent positive behavior and servant leadership.

Discipleship Groups

In the High School, we want to create an environment and culture that challenges students to grow in their faith, while providing opportunities for them to pursue discipleship of Jesus. One of the ways this can happen is by allowing space for groups of students to meet to discuss Scripture and how it impacts their lives.

Student Ambassadors

Dayton Christian Student Ambassador Program engages students in educating, connecting, and representing the school to prospective students at admissions events, during shadow days, and to communities outside of DC. This is an opportunity for students to engage in a group of active and passionate peers, earn service hours, and earn a leadership commitment for their college application.
