And what does the tooth fairy want all those teeth for anyway? Even worse, everyone in her class except for her has been invited to her classmate Jim’s birthday party. Will Junie B. land that surprisingly elusive invitation? Return to Junie B.’s charming and witty world in JUNIE B. JONES: TOOTHLESS WONDER.

Visual Arts

The visual arts program seeks to develop the artist in increasingly challenging ways, first by laying foundations, exploring various mediums, and finally, by the development of personal portfolios for submission to art school or university. Classes include Art 1-4 and Ceramics 1-2.

Media Arts

Media arts students creatively explore photography, videography, and graphic design.  The media broadcast class produces DCTV and aids in other projects such as livestreaming athletic events, creating intro videos for chapel, and supporting school programs such as the elementary Christmas program.

Industrial Arts

Dayton Christian School is the only Christian school in Ohio with a career-centric, four-year program in Industrial Arts. IA courses are a perennial favorite with our students regardless of their career goals.  Students start at the most basic level and go on to build furniture, learn metalworking, and design with the CNC router.  Classes include Woodworking 1-5 and 3D printing.

The DC Arts Program introduces students to various mediums through which they can express their talent and glorify God. Students discover their God-given potential and understand the role art plays in becoming a life-long learner.

More importantly, students learn to minister to others through their talent. DC choral group, Resounding Joy, spent J-Term 2023 recording a music video aimed at encouraging others about their worth in Christ.

This message reminds others that no matter how far they stray or how dark their life feels, they can always be found.
