Head of School Search

Dayton Christian School (DCS) announces a national search for our next Head of School (HOS).

DCS has a strong history of providing excellent education to students that clearly aligns with a Christian worldview. Partnering with faculty, staff, parents, and their local church, DCS students seamlessly learn how Biblical truth provides the foundation for higher education, vocational choices, builds strong families, and is the catalyst of service to others.

For 60 years, DCS has been a leader in Christian education in the U.S. With an enrollment of nearly 1000 students (PreK -12), DCS continues to build on the momentum gained over the last seven years in terms of leadership, appointing aspiring faculty, and building a first-class athletic facility. The next HOS will serve an integral role in continuing DCS’ goal of expanding capital initiatives, vocational programs, community learning opportunities, and other educational offerings to keep pace with the strong enrollment growth DCS has experienced over the last few years.

The HOS serves to promote and implement the mission and vision of DCS as overseen by the Board of Trustees (Board.) Primary duties will include: providing spiritual and executive leadership, fostering organizational unity and academic excellence,  executing strategy to ensure the continued viability of DCS, and shepherding financial stewardship.  Read full document.
