Please read our Why I Teach at DC page or peruse the biographies in our Faculty and Staff Directory to learn why working for Dayton Christian could be a vital ministry option for you!  Any interested candidate must be a born-again believer in Jesus Christ and agree with the DCS Statement of Faith, Mission and Vision, and Declaration of Moral and Ethical Integrity listed at the bottom of this page. We are looking for quality candidates that have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree for teaching positions and previous work experience in a related field. All candidates of Dayton Christian School must submit to a fingerprint background check when given an offer of employment and renew the fingerprint check every five years while employed at DCS.

Full-time positions currently available: 

Groundskeeper / Maintenance Technician

Dayton Christian is looking for a Grounds Keeping Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate is able to create landscape and outdoor areas and maintain them as well by mowing & edging, aeration, planting, seeding, trimming, fertilizing and watering. The position also includes snow removal in the winter. Other work will include striping of soccer and football fields as well as clearing away trash and garden debris from the grounds. A certain level of physical fitness is required due to the laborious nature of the work that also includes use of power tools and upkeep on various equipment. Position also will require light maintenance which includes helping set up for events and miscellaneous painting.

Cafeteria Worker – through W.G. Grinders

W.G. Grinders, the food service management company for Dayton Christian School, is looking for a part-time person to work in the cafeteria during the upcoming 2019-2020 school year. If interested, please contact Randy Duff at (937) 475-0058.  There is no need to fill out a Dayton Christian School employment application as employment is not provided through Dayton Christian School.

Substitute Teacher 

We are looking for dedicated Christians to serve as substitute teachers. We provide a Biblically-based curriculum and environment to instill the love of Christ and God’s Word. Searching for candidates with flexibility in substituting for various grade levels and subjects. Must have a bachelor’s degree and be willing to obtain a non-tax certificate.

Volunteer Information

If a volunteer will be in a role that is responsible for the care, custody, or control of a student(s) when a DCS employee is not present in the room, the volunteer needs to submit to a fingerprint background check and pass prior to volunteering in that capacity. Please see an HR representative to help assist in the fingerprint check.
