Special Education at Dayton Christian School
We believe that God has fearfully and wonderfully made each of us as unique individuals. Therefore, our mission is to compassionately identify the needs of students and partner with parents to offer and implement academic, behavioral, and social/emotional goals and objectives. We want each student to reach his or her highest potential to the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. To this end, Dayton Christian School offers intervention through the Response to Intervention model, accommodations through 504 Accommodation Plans, and inclusion classes and/or pullout services for students identified with special needs under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). In addition, Dayton Christian is an approved Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship provider.
