Dayton Christian School has an immediate opening for a full-time High School Principal. Dayton Christian School has an opening for a High School Counselor for the 2024-2025 School Year.
The High School Counselor will help students plan their schedule and apply academic achievement strategies. The High School Counselor will assist students with planning for post-secondary options (higher education, military, work force) and managing emotional and spiritual health.
The High School Counselor will design and implement a school counseling program in alignment with DC’s mission, Core Values, Expected Student Outcomes, policies and the Bible while working with each student to ensure that they have a 4-year academic plan that will enable them to meet their long-term goals and help them re-evaluate and modify that plan during annual graduation requirement progress checks. Dayton Christian School (DCS) is seeking a Middle School Intervention Specialist for the 2024-25 School Year. This individual will provide services and educational programs under IDEA for students identified with special needs. Services may be provided through one-on-one intervention, small groups, and inclusion classes.
The Middle School Intervention Specialist must be able to maintain records and progress monitoring based on IEP/ISP goals and objectives, as well as complete monthly service records that are required for those students enrolled in the Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship program under the JPSN guidelines/law. Warrior Position Description:
Dayton Christian School has Mini Camp Counselor openings for the 2024 summer. Seasonal Lead Camp Counselors and Assistant Camp Counselors will support DCS’ summer program for students entering PK, K, and 1st grade.
The PreK Mini Camp runs for ten weeks from May 28 to August 2. We seek highly motivated, energetic individuals who are willing to lead and assist children aged 3-7.
Our Mini Camp Counselors lead our students in fun, educational, and weekly thematic activities designed to reinforce and practice the skills they learned during the school year to prevent the "summer slide." Additionally, our Pre-K Mini Camp supports the mission and vision of DCS by instilling, inspiring, and equipping children with godly characteristics.
Full and Part-time positions are available for three different age groups (PRE-K, K, and entering 1st grade).
- Lead Counselors will teach, mentor, and guide students in fun, educational activities according to the weekly themes.
- Assistant Counselors will be responsible for helping prep crafts and activities. They will assist lead counselors in supervising, teaching, and guiding campers in all activities.
Qualifications include:

Dayton Christian School (DCS) has an opening for an Events Custodian. This is a twelve-month position. The primary purpose of this position is to support DCS-sponsored events to ensure that facilities project excellence in all areas. Although events are known in advance, this role will require Saturday assignments, particularly when school is in session.
