TA for me? Yes, you!
Every year when I collect the results of the Parent Satisfaction Survey, there are always numerous comments about making Dayton Christian tuition affordable for middle class families. Unfortunately, I think some families assume they would not be eligible for assistance when they actually might be. At the very least, it doesn’t hurt to investigate the possibility.
“We believe that a Christ-centered education is vitally important for Christian families. Here at DC, our heart is to come alongside families who are willing to make a sacrificial investment in their child’s education, but need additional financial support,” says Polina Schroeder, Director of Admissions and Financial Aid.
“This is not a one size fits all income-based program, like one might think. Instead, we take an individualized approach to tuition assistance with awards being based on your family’s financial analysis and not income alone.”
Dayton Christian uses a formula that considers income as well as expenses a family reports. Among such expenses are mortgage, car payments, college debt, health insurance premiums, day care, school tuition and more. Additionally, the formula adds discretionary spending and the cost of living.
If you think you may be eligible, Apply Now (for a small fee of $35 per family paid directly to FACTS) to check your tuition assistance eligibility!
The deadline to apply is June 1, 2020 for current families and those renewing their tuition assistance. If you have any questions, please contact Polina Schroeder.
