Alexis Jansen and Six DCHS Students Honored at ACSI Art Festival

Seven of our DCHS art students performed well at the ACSI Regional Art Festival held at Cedarville University on April 1. Four students were nominated for Best of Show and three students received awards of Superior for their artwork.

Alexis Jansen, who passed away last month in an automobile accident, was awarded second place overall. Both of her pieces pictured here were nominated for Best in Show and the piece pictured below on the right entitled “As Time Goes By” was the second place winner.
