Tennis Team Dedicates Courts

It was a cold and rainy afternoon, but that didn’t dampen the spirits of the small crowd gathered on the tennis courts last Friday, March 31. It was the day the tennis team dedicated their new courts and praised the Lord, thanking Him and the donors for the new facility.

The ceremony began with a prayer of dedication by Dr. David Rough, DCS Superintendent and DCHS High School Principal.

Warrior tennis coach Tom Joch cited Hebrews 13:16 “Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God!”  He thanked the donors who made the tennis courts possible and shared his joy at having a home facility for the team.

“Having a real home tennis facility is a dream come true, being on the DC campus,” said Yoch. “We just feel so much more connected to the whole DC family.”
