Schlatter and Maupins Receive Volleyball Honors
Morgan Schlatter and Tymika Maupins recently received the honor of being selected to play volleyball in the 2011 District 15 Senior All-Star Match. The match was played this past Sunday, Nov. 13th at Lebanon High School. Morgan and Tymika played in this match with seniors from all divisions within our district.
Morgan (DC) and Tymika (DC Homeschool), both middle hitters, led the Warriors through its incredible 18-4 season and earned Metro Buckeye Conference and District recognition. Morgan made 1st team All-District and Tymika made 2nd team All-District.
"Both ladies command such a physical presence when they are on the court with their God given talents, but such blessings off the court as well," states Coach Beth Ney. "To know that these individuals are involved in mission trips, home school, and raising money to 'save the babies' for the Miami Valley Women's Center means they are much more than just talented athletes. They are great examples of a Dayton Christian Warrior."
