Why DCSS?
Welcome to the Dayton Christian School System website!
If you are a prospective family considering Christian education for your children, we hope you’ll spend some time here as we share our passion for Jesus Christ and educating students in His ways. You may want to start with our video. It gives you a great feel for who we are and why we are passionate about Christian education.
Colossians 2:3 says that, “In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” A Christian education at DCSS seeks to unearth those treasures for the young minds that are entrusted to us. We do this in partnership with parents and the local church, recognizing the importance of working with both to raise up the next generation of godly men and woman who will influence the world in whatever path God has planned for them.
Dayton Christian School System (DCSS) was established in 1963 and has graduated more than 5,000 students. Our teachers and staff are dedicated professionals who seek to help young people see all of life through God’s eyes. We have campuses in South Dayton and Xenia as well as a Homeschool program and a Special Education program. DCSS is chartered by the State of Ohio and accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International as well as North Central Association.
