Mission Statement
Dayton Christian Schools, Inc. recognizes that God, through His Word, the Bible, is the absolute authority and basis for all truth. Under that authority, desiring to work with the local church and the evangelical community, we seek to assist Christian families in their Biblical responsibility to train their children to become Christlike and to fulfill God's purpose for their lives in the home, church and society.
Ministry Goals
Serving the Family
To serve the home and local church as they train young people to have a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ (Deut. 6:5-7)
Providing the Truth
To provide a Christ-centered educational program which is based on the authoritative Word of God (II Tim. 2:15)
Equipping the Student
To equip students to evangelize and disciple others and to encourage involvement in practical ministry opportunities (Matt. 28:19,20)
Unifying the Body
To offer Christian education which unifies the body of Christ in accord with Biblical principles and our Statement of Faith (Eph. 4:1-6)
Modeling the Savior
To employ and develop mature Christian faculty and staff members who minister through the power of the Holy Spirit to their family, students, and community by word and action. (Luke 6:40)
Following the Bible
To follow Biblical principles in all of our practices, policies, and guidelines (II Chron. 1:10)
Communicating
To communicate, internationally, the purpose and objectives of the Message Christian education by sharing the mission, goals, and resources of Dayton Christian Schools (Ps. 9:11)
Balancing
To communicate, locally and globally, the purpose and the Resources objectives of Christian education by sharing DCS' mission and goals, curriculum, policies and resources (I John 3:17-18)
