Course Scheduling Process
The scheduling process for 2010-2011 will be explained to students in grades 9-11 in an assembly on Monday, February 22, from 9:47-10:39 am in the cafeteria. Following devotions in the cafeteria seniors will meet in the Auditorium for the seminar “Making College Search Count”. Each student will be given a copy of the Course Description Catalog & a Course Selection Sheet which can also be accessed on the school website under “Academics.” The student will need to choose classes, get the appropriate signatures, and schedule with the assigned counselor beginning Wednesday, February 24. The Course Selection Sheet is due to the counselor no later than Friday, March 26.
There will be a Principal/Parent Roundtable on Tuesday, February 23 from 8:15-9:15 am in the Cafeteria. Parents may come and ask questions regarding the scheduling process.
8th Grade/Home School: Students currently in the 8th grade and Home School will have a Scheduling Assembly in the Auditorium on Tuesday, February 23 from 10:44-11:30 am. There will be an 8th grade Parent meeting that evening from 7:00-8:00 pm in the Auditorium to answer questions concerning the scheduling process. Please feel free to attend this important informational meeting for selecting courses for next year.
Note: after the completed schedule is submitted there is a $5.00 fee for each class change. Use the Drop/Add Form available in the office.
