Alumnus Shares His Faith
My wife Carole and I attended the wedding of one of our graduates. As we were seated, the pastor came by, knelt down, and shared with me a story which he thought would be an encouragement to us. He indicated he’d gone to Valparaiso University back in 1979 where he joined a music fraternity. At this time, he met David Stearns – a 1979 graduate of DCHS. He indicated that David led him to Christ and is indebted to him today for his willingness to share his faith. It’s exciting for us to see that here’s a pastor who’s reached hundreds of lives…whose son is graduating from DCHS this coming June and headed into the ministry as well…one graduate touched by the teachers at Dayton Christian School has exponentially resulted in hundreds of lives being changed by the Gospel message. The pastor also indicated that he gave a great deal of credit to Dayton Christian School for the impact it’s had upon his son, and his daughter, who’s presently a 7th grade student in our system.
