Troubled Student Makes Good
“We are amazed with this school’s accomplishments. Our son has had many problems from school to school. Some refused to teach him and sent him home 3-4 days a week. In one year they transferred him to three different schools. Even though he wasn’t learning, they kept on passing him. When he was tested for the 4th grade [at DCSS] you told us he wasn’t ready. Not exactly what we wanted to hear. So even though he was placed in the 3rd grade, he has surpassed our expectations. His thirst for knowledge is amazing, and the dedication of the teachers and staff is amazing and we just want to say thank you.”
